SNK PLAYMORE USA CORPORATION (Corporate HQ: Suita-city, Osaka, Japan, Company President & CEO: Ryo Mizufune) is proud to announce the release of PS3™ Ver. & PSP® Ver. “METAL SLUG 2” and “THE KING OF FIGHTERS ‘96”, as the fourth set of downloadable game titles for “NEOGEO Station”, via the “New Releases” category and the “SNK NEOGEO” Featured Publishers page available on SONY’s PlayStation®Store, from Tuesday, Oct 11th, 2011.

“NEOGEO Station” is a commemorative project that allows players to enjoy the many nostalgic fighting, action, shooting, sports and many other NEOGEO titles released after 1990, exclusively on PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) systems. The first,second, and third set included classic titles such as “BASEBALL STARS 2”, “KOF ’94”, “KOF ’95”, “METAL SLUG”, “SAMURAI SHODOWN”, which are all currently available on the PlayStation®Store as well.

This time, 2 more new titles have been released for a total of 16 titles.
